The Amethyst Center is located on Azurae Windwalker's family farm, in Bedford County, near the Peaks of Otter.  The 31 acres are heavily wooded with many grandfather trees, springs, babbling brooks, power spots, wildlife and is full of the Spirit in Nature.  The ancient rocks contain amethyst and produce an exceptional energy for healing, meditation and transmuting toxins.

From I-81 – Take exit 150 A (Cloverdale) At the ramp turn right on to Hwy 220 S. continue on Hwy. 220 S. 5 miles until it dead ends into Hwy. 460 East. (You’ll see Walmart on the right) Turn left on 460 E towards Lynchburg, Bedford and the D-Day Memorial. Continue on Hwy. 460 for 10 miles until you get to Montvale where you see large Oil Tanks. At the top of the hill past Nana’s Cooking Restaurant turn right on to Quarterwood Rd. (Hwy 691) Go 3 1/3 miles. Look for Greenhaven Drive on the right as a landmark. We are the next driveway on the right just past the 30 MPH sign. 4443 Quarterwood Rd is large on the mailbox. Go up the hill and park as far back in the field as you can. From Hwy. 460 West – (Coming from Richmond VIA 360, from Charlottesville or Raleigh Via Hwy. 29) Pass Lynchburg on Hwy. 460. Pass Bedford. Go about 12 miles. You’ll notice the Big Apple Market on your right and Montvale School on the left. Slow down and get in the left lane when you get to the flashing yellow sign telling you to “Slow down, Oil tankers entering Hwy.” At the BP station turn left across the Hwy. on to Quarterwood Rd.
