About Azurae Windwalker

Azurae Windwalker is a shamanic artist, healer, teacher of Practical Shamanism, and life coach.  Her healing practice has spanned 25 years with thousands enjoying her wisdom at Body Mind Spirit Expos, healing centers, universities, and Unity Churches.  Inspired by her American Indian ancenstors, Azurae's Practical Shamanism is an ever-growing practice that meets the challenges of today.

Azurae was trained in a seven-year apprenticeship in the XAT Native American Medicine Society where she became a ceremonial leader.  She balances this training with life coaching and motivational expertise learned in the corporate world as a leading advertising executive in Nashville, Tennessee.  She uses shamanic practices daily for personal and planetary healing, insight, protection, and empowerment.  Azurae maintains a busy healing practice using shamanic healing and art, shamanic journeying, release of spirit attachments, retrieval of lost soul parts, and psychic surgery.  Angelic intervention, ceremony, core trauma release, NLP, stone and herbal healing, Medical Intuitive Kinesiology (muscle testing), and dowsing are also employed to bring wholeness, health, and balance to clients. She now conducts an apprenticeship program at The Amethyst Center.  Her seven Spirit Doctors continue to bring new techniques to Azurae and her students as they are needed.  Azurae conducts Woodland Indian ceremonies seasonally at The Amethyst Center and Unity Church of the Roanoke Valley.

Workshops

Azurae teaches a variety of Practical Shamanism classes.  These include Practical Shamanism 101, which offers the foundation practices for powering up, shamanic healing, shamanic journeying, psychic self-protection, and intuitive development.  Another beginner class which may be offered in other locations is Animal Totems and Sacred Symbols.  Soul Petroglyph Portrait clients and others enjoy retrieving their power animals and soul symbols and learning how to work with them.  Following this is the Walk Around the Medicine Wheel Personal Mastery Program, which meets three times per year.  This series tests for strengths and weaknesses and then offers a plan and techniques to achieve spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental health.  In Drum Making and Sound Therapy, you make a drum, awaken it as an instrument of healing, and learn how to use it for personal and planetary healing.  In winter, Azurae offers a variety of shamanic art classes.  Making Your Power Shield is the most popular.  For further study she offers a three year apprenticeship, which meets four times per year.  PS101 and Walk Around the Medicine Wheel are prerequisites.
